President Jacob Zuma will, next week, attend the World Economic Forum on Africa to be held at the Cape Town International Convention Centre (CTICC).
More than 900 participants from 60 countries will participate in the 21st World Economic Forum on Africa in Cape Town, South Africa, from 4 to 6 May 2011. The WEF is taking place under the theme “From Vision to Action, Africa’s Next Chapter”.
African Heads of State and Government and business people will exchange views on how Africa can position itself as a key player in the emerging markets as six of the 10 most rapidly expanding economies are located in sub-Saharan Africa.

09h00: Climate Change – The Durban Agenda, a panel discussion on Climate change and how South Africa as hosts of COP 17 can rise to the challenge of finding long lasting solutions on Africa’s climate agenda.
11h30: President attends the Business Interaction Group meeting in which President Zuma and Cabinet Ministers will meet with Chief Executive Officers from domestic and international companies.
20h00: South Africa hosts the WEF Soiree/Mokete gala dinner.
