President Jacob Zuma will on Sunday, 11 March 2012, deliver a keynote address at the special provincial official funeral of Ms Nokuhamba Nyawo at Ingwavuma, northern KwaZulu-Natal.
President Jacob Zuma declared, on the request of the KwaZulu-Natal Provincial Government, a Special Provincial Official Funeral for Ms Nokuhamba Nyawo, an esteemed member of the Order of Luthuli and a gallant heroine of the struggle against apartheid. She received the Order of Luthuli in December 2009 from the President, for her selfless commitment and loyalty to the struggle for a peaceful, democratic, non-racial and non-sexist South Africa.
