President Jacob Zuma will address the inaugural meeting of the newly appointed National Planning Commission on Tuesday, 11 May 2010.
President Zuma announced the 25 members of the Commission, chaired by Minister Trevor Manuel, last week after a long period of consideration.
In appointing the Commissioners President Zuma said "we congratulate these men and women and wish them all the best in their work as they guide the country towards sustainable development and prosperity. They are assured of our full support as government.”
