President Jacob Zuma will on Saturday, 4 August 2012, officiate at the unveiling of the Nelson Mandela sculpture in Howick, KwaZulu-Natal Midlands, at the last place where he was a free man before he was captured by the apartheid police in 1962.
Under the theme: “Silandela ezinyathelweni zabaholi bethu/Following in the footsteps of our leaders”, the event forms part of the 50th Anniversary of the arrest of former President Mandela.
