President Jacob Zuma will tomorrow, 27 May 2010, meet with The Elders led by the former Secretary-General of the United Nations Kofi Annan. Other members of the delegation of The Elders will include Marti Ahtisaari, Archbishop Desmond Tutu, Ela Bhatt, Gro Brundlandt, Graca Machel and Mary Robinson.
The Elders are an independent group of eminent global leaders brought together by former South African President Nelson Mandela, who offer their collective influence and experience to support peace building, help address major causes of human suffering and promote the shared interests of humanity.
