President Jacob Zuma to attend the opening ceremony of the 2010 Tourism Indaba in Durban, KwaZulu-Natal

President Jacob Zuma will attend the official opening ceremony of the 2010 Tourism Indaba to be held at the Inkosi Albert Luthuli International Convention Centre in Durban, KwaZulu-Natal, on Saturday, 08 May, at 15h00.

The Tourism Indaba is South Africa’s tourism flagship travel trade show and Africa’s top travel show with about 12 000 international visitors from trade, media and consumer attending. Since the event is the largest before the 2010 FIFA World Cup, it will serve as the principal communication platform leading up to the event and will be hosted under the theme: “THE WORLD IS COMING WE ARE READY”.

There will be a symbolic lighting of the World Cup Stadia at the event.
