President Jacob Zuma will on Saturday, 22 September 2012, attend the Alexandra Township Centenary Celebrations.
Well known from the 1957 massive Alexandra Bus Boycott, among other things, Alexandra is one of South Africa’s oldest townships and has had some of the country’s prominent leaders as its residents, including Deputy President Kgalema Motlanthe and former President Nelson Mandela.
