Premier Supra Mahumapelo and Mayor Gosiame Seatlholo hand-over a house to a destitute family in Modimola Village
The Premier of Bokone Bophirima Province Supra Obakeng Ramoeletsi Mahumapelo and Executive Mayor of Mahikeng Local Municipality Cllr Gosiame Seatlholo will today, Friday 16 October 2015, hand over a newly built house to the Kgakgamatso family in Modimola village outside Mahikeng, at 10h00.
This follows the intervention sought by the Executive Mayor of Mahikeng Local Municipality which saw a private sponsor being secured to build a house for this family of five (two parents and three children), who have been staying in a one-roomed shack, with no income.
According to Premier Mahumapelo, this occasion signifies the importance of working together with the private sector and touching impoverished people’s lives, saying this provides the real meaning of Saamwerk-Saamtrek philosophy.
