Premier Mokonyane briefs the media on Gauteng's crime-fighting efforts

Premier Nomvula Mokonyane, together with Community Safety MEC Nonhlanhla Mazibuko and Provincial Police Commissioner Mzwandile Petros, will tomorrow, 09 September 2011 address the media on the province's latest developments on crime fighting efforts.

This is in line with the province's priority to ensure that all people of Gauteng are and feel safe.

Early this year, Mokonyane outlined the province's plans to bring down crime statistics after it emerged that 50 percent of South Africa's crimes take place in Gauteng.
