Gauteng Premier Nomvula Mokonyane will tomorrow, 21 October, deliver a keynote address at the 2010 small, medium and micro-enterprise (SMME) conference to be held at Birchwood Hotel. The conference, themed "South African economy and the role of SMMEs" will discuss success stories, best practices and key challenges that face South Africa's SMMEs in the global market.
Premier Mokonyane will be sharing lessons learnt from working with and supporting the SMME sector in the Gauteng province. The Premier will also share pointers for the future strategic direction of support to the sector with delegates. The conference will culminate in the awards banquet during which top SMMEs in Africa will be honoured.
