Gauteng Premier Nomvula Mokonyane will tomorrow, 14 July 2011, speak on the occasion of the tabling of the budget vote of the Office of the Premier at the Provincial Legislature. The Premier's address will give an account of what the province has achieved in the second year of office.
Following the budget vote, Premier will deliver the political report to a special sitting of the Legislature. The political report, which is in line with the commitment by the Executive Council that the provincial government will regularly report to the people of Gauteng, will outline how the government has fared in implementing the Programme of Action. The report will provide details of what the provincial government has done to improve the lives of Gauteng residents.
