Mpumalanga Premier, David Mabuza, will deliver the policy and budget speech of the Office of the Premier 2010/11 on Thursday, 27 May 2010, at the Mpumalanga provincial legislature chamber in Nelspruit.
The speech by the premier will, among others, reposition the Office of the Premier as a strategic centre of excellence. To that extend the speech is expected to focus on the planning, monitoring and evaluation of responsibilities of the office with regard to coordination of cooperative governance and intergovernmental relations.
Furthermore, it is expected that the speech will also highlight government strategy and interventions with respect to targeted groups (women, children and people with disabilities).
