The Premier of the Northern Cape, Ms Hazel Jenkins, will tomorrow, 18 February 2010 immediately after her state of the province address visit two old age homes with the express purpose to handover food parcels and other necessities.
This generous gesture is also to mark the special occasion of her state of the province address which is a permanent feature on her annual calendar.
Senior citizens should be honoured for the sacrifices they made in building our country, and for their children many of whom are today holding respectable positions in the society.
The media is kindly invited to join her during these visits.
