Premier David Mabuza will tomorrow, 27 November 2009 hand over a fully furnished house to Mr Denis Mbalati at Ekulindeni in Albert Luthuli Local Municipality. Mr Mbalati is a disabled person who raised his plight during a community service delivery meeting on 3 July 2009.
The main purpose of the event is to hand over a house to one of the vulnerable people and encourage organised business, civil society organisations and individuals to extend a helping help to the needy. Mr Mbalati’s story is a sad one. Premier Mabuza was deeply touched by Mr Mbalati’s plight and decided to contribute from his personal resources towards the building of the house. He also engaged the services of the private sponsors in the building industry to work together with him to create a better life for Mr Mbalati and his family.
