Portfolio Committee for Sports, Recreation, Arts and Culture of the Gauteng Legislature, chaired by honorable Nompi Nhlapo, will be hosting a relationship building session with its stakeholders, amongst other invited stakeholders invited will be the Gauteng Sports Council, Gauteng Department of Sports and Sports Hub Managers.
The purpose of this session is a follows:
- To encourage the stakeholders to participate actively on the activities of the committee
- To explain the role of the committee in achieving its legislative mandate (Budget Cycle, Annual Report, Quarterly Reports and Focus Intervention Studies)
- To enable participants to get a better understanding in terms activities implemented by the department of Sport, Recreation, Arts and Culture.
