The Powers and Privileges Committee will tomorrow resume the disciplinary hearing of 20 Members of the Economic Freedom Fighters regarding the incident of the 21 August 2014 in the National Assembly                                                   

The Committee on Thursday requested six further witnesses to appear before it to give evidence on certain instances where they played a role in engagements during the period just before the suspension of the sitting until the adjournment of the House. The Committee will thus listen to this evidence tomorrow.

Members of the media and the general public should note that the hearing will now start at 10am to allow further administrative and logistical processes to be concluded.
