One more new Independent Communications Authority of South Africa (Icasa) councillor takes oath

The Honourable Judge De Villiers will officially swear-in the third and new Icasa Councillor, Ntombizodwa Ndhlovu tomorrow.

“We are looking forward to having the third Councillor Ndhlovu joining the Authority in order to help us make sure that the electronic communications industry is regulated in the public interest. Like the other two Councillors that were sworn-in late last month, Councillor Ndhlovu brings with her a great a wealth of knowledge and skills to ICASA; and we will make sure that she uses those skills to serve the people of South Africa,” said the Chairperson, Dr Stephen Mncube.

The Council, Executive Management and staff of ICASA continued to pledge their support for the new Councillor while she executes her duties.

The new Councillor will be officially sworn-in on Wednesday, 27 October 2010, at the IASA Block C Presentation Room at 08h30.
