Transport Minister, Honourable Sibusiso Ndebele, together with the Managing Director of the Airports Company South Africa (ACSA), Ms Monhla Hlahla, will host Republic of South Africa President, His Excellency, President Jacob Gedleyihlekisa Zuma on the occasion of the official opening of the central terminal building at OR Tambo International Airport.
The state President will unveil the plaque officially symbolising world class airport and aviation infrastructure in the biggest, but also busiest airport in the African continent.

Following this prestigious event, the minister will host members of the media to a comprehensive briefing on the state of integrated transport readiness for the 2010 FIFA World Cup soccer spectacular.
The minister will be joined during the briefing by Transport Deputy Minister Jeremy Cronin, 2010 World Cup Organising Committee South Africa CEO Dr Danny Jordan, CEOs of Transport agencies key to the hosting of a successful 2010 FIFA World Cup soccer tournament including Airports Company of South Africa (ACSA), the Passenger Rail Agency of South Africa (PRASA), Gautrain, the Road Traffic Management Corporation (RTMC), Cross-Border Road Transport Agency (CBRTA) and the South African National Roads Agency Limited (SANRAL), as well as representatives from the 2010 FIFA World Cup Organising Committee South Africa.
