Limpopo MEC for Sport, Arts and Culture, Mrs Joyce Mashamba will lead the official opening of the multi-million Xihlobo Community Library, which will then be followed by community outreach whereby community members will be afforded an opportunity to raise their challenges in terms of service delivery. The main objective is to give the community a chance to interact with the political leaders, MEC, local Mayor and the District Mayor.
The state of the art Library will promote the cultlibraryure of reading and writing amongst community members of Shawela in Giyani and the surrounding areas. It will also assist in the fight against illiteracy.
The opening ceremony is arranged as follows:
