Official opening of the Mankele bridge and road

Limpopo Premier, Cassel Mathale, will officially open the long awaited Mankele bridge and road in Mankele Village, Greater Tubatse Municipality in the Sekhukhune District. The eighty million rand construction has been life changing for the people of Mankele and its surrounding villages.

The bridge brings an end to the use of the notorious segwaigwai, the makeshift cable car that Mankele residents used to cross the Olifants River. The connecting twelve kilometre road from Penge to Mankele through Mamogolo village has connected the three villages and improved travelling as well as access to workplaces, shops, shopping centres and government services.

In this regard the premier invites you to the official opening of Mankele Bridge scheduled to take place as follows:

Date: 24 April 2012
