The Premier of Limpopo Mr Cassel Mathale will officially open the first session of the fourth Provincial House of Traditional Leaders. Premier Mathale will be joined by the MEC of the Department of Cooperative Governance, Human Settlements and Traditional Affairs, Mr Clifford Motsepe.
In terms of Limpopo House of Traditional Leaders ACT no 5 of 2005, the Provincial House is entitled to advise and make proposals to the Provincial Legislature or Provincial government in respect of matters relating to traditional councils, indigenous law or the traditional communities within the province. The Provincial House must hold meetings twice every year. Members of the media are invited to cover the opening of the first seating of the house.
