The North West Provincial Legislature’s Portfolio Committee on Provincial Affairs and Finance will be holding Public Hearings on the Division of Revenue Bill 2012 at Bakwena Ba Morare Traditional Hall in Madikwe and Christiana Town Hall on Thursday, 12 April 2012. On Friday, 13 April 2012, the public hearings will be held at Atamaleng Hall in Atamelang and Chris Hani Hall (Sarafina) in Potchefstroom. All Public Hearings commence at 10h00.
The Division of Revenue for the financial year 2012/2013 aims to provide for the equitable division of revenue raised nationally among national, provincial and local spheres of government and the responsibilities of all three spheres pursuant to such division; and to provide for matters connected therewith.
The Portfolio Committee will be led by the Acting Chairperson of the Committee, Hon. Wendy Matsemela and accompanied by Hons. Galeng, Baloyi, Kekesi, Kasienyane, Mothupi, Pelele, Motladiile, Molotsi, Num, Kheswa, Hattingh, Franszen, Motswenyane, Moarane, Motshegare and Dodovu.
