On 15 September 2017, the Speaker of the North West Provincial Legislature, Hon, Sussana Dantjie will host the Legislature Stakeholders’ Dialogue under the theme “Enhancing Environmental Development for Socially Suitable Communities” in Klerksdorp Recreation Centre at 9h00.
The outreach programme was launched by Hon. Dantjie to afford the Executive an opportunity to account to the people of the North West on the work and commitment by government; provide an opportunity for people of North West to engage government and table their expectations.
The dialogue will focus on the following thematic area:
- The role of the Provincial Government in helping municipalities to improve in their financial and performance outcomes.
- Role of the members of the public and civil societies in enhancing Legislature oversight.
- Environmental sustainability and awareness
- Research and innovations to enhance service delivery
- Enhanced partnership between government and the private sector
Representatives from the Provincial Government, Office of the Auditor General, and the University of the North West will form part of the stakeholders who will be attending the event.
