The MEC for Social Development Mr Alvin Botes will be attending the No Drugs and Substance Abuse Campaign being arranged by the African National Congress Women’s League (ANCWL) at the Frank Rorro Cricket Ground from 11h00 - 14h00 on the 22 October 2011.
The theme for the day is Promoting Positive & Healthy Lifestyles with the emphasis on Substance Abuse and Drugs. 150 youth will be attending the event and various speakers will be addressing the youth on issues of Substance Abuse, Crime Awareness and HIV and AIDS.
The day will be ended off with a soccer match in which MEC Botes will be featuring in against a local team from the Sipho Mjigima Branch.
