Tomorrow, Gauteng Premier Nomvula Mokonyane and MEC for Health and Social Development Qedani Mahlangu, will open a newly renovated children's ward at Far East Rand hospital in Springs, Ekurhuleni.
In addition to the opening of the children's ward, the Premier and MEC will tour other sections of the hospital including the crisis centre for abused women and children, Casualty and Osizweni HIV and AIDS Centre.
The changes at the hospital are part of the province's strategy to improve, and sustain the quality of services delivered in Gauteng's hospitals and clinics.
