Who and what: The newly appointed MEC for Health, Ms Fezi Ngubentombi, will meet with the local governance structures, i.e. District Health Councils, Hospital Boards, Clinic Committees and Mental Health Review Boards.
When: Wednesday, 16 February 2011, 09h00
Where: Hall, Nurses Home, Bongani Hospital, Mthusi Road, Welkom
Why: The purpose of the session is to re-launch/re-establish the governance structures of the Free State public hospitals and clinics for the effective operation of these facilities and institutions.
How: Draft program
As per the draft program there is a short overview planned of the TB, HIV and HCT and Prevention of Mother to Child Transmission of HIV (PMTCT) and saving mothers program. There will be 15 minutes presentations to inform the delegates about the overview of these priority programs especially relevant to their districts.
