Hundred and seventy six (176) offenders from different prisons around Gauteng will be conferred certificates, diplomas and degrees in different fields of study on Wednesday, 8 September 2010 at the Pretoria Management Area Hall. The inmates will be in the company of their family members or next of kin to celebrate their achievements with them. The University of South Africa (Unisa) and the management of the Department of Correctional Services in Gauteng region will preside over the graduation ceremony.
The Department of Correctional Services invites you to be part of this historic and life changing moment for the inmates. Media will be allowed to take photos and interview both offenders and their next of kin.
