On 18 July 2012, individuals and organisations around the world will spend at least 67 minutes doing good work in their own communities in honour of the 67 years Nelson Mandela gave in service and sacrifice. The Nelson Mandela Foundation and 46664, in association with the other sister organisations, have called for Mandela Day to be recognised as an annual international “Day of Humanitarian Action” in celebration of Nelson Mandela’s life and legacy.
The Department of Energy Senior Managers and staff, will commemorate this day doing community service at The Crossroad and Soul Child kids centre in Salvokop.
The members of the media are invited to join the department in making a difference in the lives of our people.
