Members of the media are informed that the media briefing on the 17th World Festival of Youth and Students scheduled to take place today Friday 17 December 2010 has been postponed. A new date for the briefing will be communicated in due course.
The 17th World Festival of Youth and Students has been underway at the Tshwane Events Centre since Monday. Discussions have been taking place and resolutions made on various issues on the programme.
Today the Executive Chairperson of the National Youth Development Agency (NYDA) Andile Lungisa and President of the World Federation of Democratic Youth (WFDY) Tiago Vieira will brief members of the media.
At the briefing, Lungisa and Vieira will give an update on the discussions that have taken place thus far.
