South Africans will soon know which 10 districts in the country have been identified for the phased piloting of the National Health Insurance (NHI) due to start on 1 April 2012.
During the announcement the health Minister Dr Aaron Motsoaledi will outline how the 10 districts were chosen and what citizens of these districts should expect on 1 April when the piloting starts.
Expected to be present at the announcement on Thursday are ambassadors and high commissioners representing various countries in South Africa.
The European Union has been playing a significant role in helping prepare the ground for the phasing in of the NHI and they will also be represented at the announcement on Thursday.
