The National Department of Health is hosting the National Health Insurance (NHI) Conference and National Consultative Health Forum from 7 to 9 December at the Gallagher Conference Centre, Midrand.
The NHI Conference will take place on 7 and 8 December to further the depth of the public consultation process and to elicit inputs from as wide an audience as possible. The department has invited imminent international experts on health financing and health systems to share their experiences on key aspects related to NHI in developed, low and middle income countries.
The National Consultative Health Forum will take place on 9 December.
Registration will take place between 16:00 and 18:00 on 6 December and between 07:00 and 08:00 on 7 December.
Attendance of the conference is by invitation only.
