Mohono brings a sign of relief to Kekana family

The North West MEC for the Department of Human Settlements, Desbo Mohono will hand over a house to the Kekana family in Robega village outside Rustenburg. The family lost their belongings and a three bed roomed shack after a lightning stroke the electricity box and the whole structure burned down late December last year.

The family of six has been living with neighbours since the horrific incident that left the family without belongings. The family which consists of a mother, three daughters and two grandchildren and has being without an income since the father past on several years back.

In response to the plights of the Kekana family, MEC Mohono called on contractors within the province to provide social responsibility by constructing a house for the family.
