The Department for Women, Children and People with Disabilities cordially invites the media to the gala dinner in celebration of the eight World Assembly of Disabled Peoples'' International to be held tonight (Wednesday, 12 October) at the Durban International Convention Centre.
The World Assembly, taking place in Durban from 10 to 13 October, brings together more than 1 000 delegates to review global progress in the realisation of rights of people with disabilities.
The dinner will be addressed by the Minister for Women, Children and People with Disabilities, Ms Lulu Xingwana, Minister of Social Development Ms Bathabile Dlamini, Premier of KwaZulu-Natal, Dr Zweli Mkhize and eThekwini Mayor James Nxumalo.
