The Minister of Arts and Culture, Ms Lulu Xingwana will speak at a symposium as part of the Africa Day celebrations. This event is organised by the New Partnership for Africa’s Development (NEPAD) Secretariat in partnership with the Department of Arts and Culture. Under the theme: Unifying Africa through Education and Culture, African government officials, intellectuals and representatives of civil society will debate the role of education and culture in African development.
