Minister Winde to visit SMMEs in The Fringe

Tomorrow, 7 September 2012, as part of Small Business Friday Western Cape Minister of Finance, Economic Development and Tourism, Alan Winde will go on a walkabout in Cape Town’s Innovation District - The Fringe - to visit small businesses operating in the area.

The Fringe project aims to develop a design-focused precinct in the Eastern Quarter of the Cape Town CBD with the aim of creating an environment to develop and showcase local design, innovation, creativity and entrepreneurship.

Minister Winde will use the opportunity to speak about developments in The Fringe as well as the importance of Small to Medium Business Enterprises to the Western Cape’s economy.

There will be an opportunity for interviews and photographs.
