Tomorrow, Thursday 27 September 2012, Western Cape Minister of Finance, Economic Development and Tourism Alan Winde, will announce the 2011/12 Audit Outcomes of the Western Cape Government as per the Province’s audit report card from the Auditor-General of South Africa. The audit report card covers all Western Cape departments and entities.
Minister Winde will also present the 2012 Provincial Economic Review and Outlook (PERO) in the Western Cape Provincial Legislature tomorrow afternoon.
PERO is used to inform policy decisions of the Cabinet, as well as the Provincial Budget. PERO 2012 explores four different areas of the Western Cape Economy - an overview of economic performance; the development of Western Cape economic sectors; labour market aspects and the socio-economic dynamics of the Province.
