The Minister for Women, Children and Persons with Disabilities, Ms Lulu Xingwana and KwaZulu-Natal Health MEC Dr S'bongiseni Dlomo will today, Tuesday, 9 November visit the families of six people killed at Shongweni in KwaZulu-Natal.
Minister Xingwana’s visit is part of the preparations for the launch of 16 Days of Activism Campaign for No Violence against Women and Children which runs from 25 November to 10 December to mobilise all South Africans to stop incidents of rape, murder and other form of abuse against women and children. Minister Xingwana and MEC Dlomo will deliver food parcels to the families and interact with leaders and members of the local community.
