The Minister of Energy, Ms Dipuo Peters will be travelling to Mozambique to engage her counterpart, the Minister of Mineral Resources, Ms Esperanca Bias from 24 to 25 February 2011.
Their discussions will centre around South Africa’s request for bilateral cooperation in the field of hydrocarbons and request Mozambique to supply additional gas to South Africa for PetroSA’s gas to liquid plant.
Mr Malusi Gigaba, the Minister of Public Enterprises, will act during the period of Ms Peters’ absence from the Republic.
