Domestic Tourism in South Africa will receive a boost when Mr Marthinus van Schalkwyk, Minister of Tourism, officially launches the new tourism initiative - Harties Cableway, which spans the majestic Hartebeespoort dam and Magaliesberg mountains.
Fourteen hi-tech cable cars, built to carry six passengers at a time and able to transport up to 500 people per hour (round trip), are ready to offer a unique cableway experience. The Harties Cableway offers visitors panoramic views of the beautiful surrounds, as well as various recreational and educational facilities.
