Minister of Water and Environmental Affairs, Ms Buyelwa Sonjica, will today, 10 March be addressing the South East African Climate consortium at Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University. The consortium is a body of academics on matters of climate change.
The minister intends to engage academia to come further into the climate change debate especially on the issue of adaptation. It is hoped that this will impact on our communities and the way that they live as many will be affected by the effects of climate change.
