Minister of Social Development, Ms Edna Molewa will give a keynote address at the gender and poverty reduction symposium. The event will take place at the Kopanong Hotel and conference centre on 15 October 2009.The broad scope of this symposium is to provide new models and innovative ways of thinking in dealing with poverty. The event will coincide with activities organised around international poverty day.
This symposium will bring together researchers, policy makers and members of civil society organisations in dialogue with each other.
