The Minister of Rural Development and Land Reform Mr Gugile Nkwinti together with the Minister of Energy Ms Peters cordially invite members of the media to the “switching on the power” project to be held in Msinga Kwadolo (Next to Home Affairs Offices) on the 27 August 2011.
The department’s vision which is summarised in the Comprehensive Rural Development Programme (CRDP) is to create vibrant, equitable and sustainable rural communities. As part of the CRDP the department have finalised an electrification project in Msinga, Ward 12 and the Minister together with the Minister of Energy will be "switching on the power" to 800 households. The Minister will also hand over a water scheme and food garden to the Msinga community.
