On 11 December 2009, Transport Minister Sbu Ndebele received an audit report from the South African Civil Aviation Authority with regards to the Airlink Airline.
The Minister then indicated that he will communicate his decision as to whether Airlink should be grounded or not today, Monday, 14 December 2009.
However, the Minister and the SACAA will jointly be able to communicate the decision tomorrow, Tuesday, 15 December 2009.
