Minister for Performance Monitoring and Evaluation in The Presidency, Collins Chabane will tomorrow on Africa Day, 25 May 2010 address the African Renaissance Conference Festival in Durban.
This year marks the 12th annual African Renaissance Festival, the only celebration of African Renaissance ideals on the continent. It is attended by delegates from around the world who come together to network, present ideas, debate and explore issues related to the recreating the African continent through its wealth of social, economic and political resources.
This year’s African Renaissance theme is “Take charge Africa – the future of Africa is in your hands”, and will focus on looking at African solutions to the challenges faced in the business, tourism and arts and culture sectors.
Minister Chabane will address the business session on the government’s framework for performance monitoring and evaluation including improving performance.
