Minister of Police, Nathi Mthethwa to join march against crime in Durban on Sunday

The Minister of Police, Nathi Mthethwa will join a community march against crime; as well as address communities around the importance of partnerships in the fight against crime. Almost on a weekly basis, the Minister directly interacts with different communities around the country, with a view of understanding some of their concerns around safety.

He utilises such interactions to further monitor service delivery by police but importantly, strengthen relations between police and civic organisations, organised business, youth formation and different interfaith organisations.

After the march the Minister will address a community meeting at Santi Sports field, Pinetown starting at 12h00. Members of the Media are cordially invited. There will be opportunities for 1-1 interviews with the Minister.
