Minister of Police, Nathi Mthethwa to hold an Imbizo at Lwandle Township, Strand

Part of the Ministry of Police’s approach in the fight against crime is through strengthening partnerships with communities, civic organisations, religious and youth formations; constantly interacting and obtaining feedback from residents on policing issues. Such an approach has not only assisted in monitoring service delivery but further ensuring that communities become partners in the fight against crime, thus dealing a blow to criminals.

It is against this background that the Minister of Police, Nathi Mthethwa will be holding an imbizo with the community of Lwandle, outside Strand, Western Cape this afternoon. He will be joined by the Acting SAPS Provincial Commissioner of the Western Cape, Major General Fick, SAPS Cluster Commanders as well as Station Commanders from the surrounding areas.
