The Minister of Police, Nathi Mthethwa will tomorrow give a keynote closing address at the Mpumalanga Safety and Security Summit.
The two-day summit which commenced this morning and ends tomorrow; is aimed at deliberating on the crime fighting strategies and interventions in the province, assess the effectiveness of existing strategies.
The summit embodies a multi-disciplinary stakeholder engagement and should be used as a symposium of new thinking regarding crime fighting. The ultimate aim is to ensure integration and partnerships in crime prevention within and outside government.
