Minister of Police, Nathi Mthethwa to give keynote address at the High Level Regional Meeting on Elections Integrity and Security in Eastern and Southern Africa

The Minister of Police, Nathi Mthethwa will deliver a keynote address at the High Level Regional Meeting on Elections Integrity and Security in Eastern and Southern Africa tomorrow.

The conference is organised by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in collaboration with the Electoral Commissions Forum of SADC and the Electoral Commission of South Africa (IEC) and will be attended by electoral management bodies as well as their security cluster partners in both the Eastern and Southern African bodies.

The UNDP acknowledges that different modalities are used across African countries to enhance elections integrity and security during elections and the variation in the measures is determined by the unique circumstances in each election. Details of the event are as follows:
