The Minister of Police, Nathi Mthethwa will tomorrow deliver a keynote address at the National Association for Student Development (NASDEV) Bi-Annual Conference, under the theme: “25 Years of Excellence in Student Affairs Practice". In his address, the Minister is expected to challenge young people to continue to partner with government in the fight against crime, through research and skills, make a contribution to assist government tackle crime and to participate in community development programmes.
The National Association of Student Development Practitioners is a professional association that regulates all personnel working in Student Affairs in highereducation institutions as well as further education and training colleges (FETs). This year they are celebrating 25 years of existence and pride themselves as having been at the forefront of shaping the agenda for higher education in South Africa.
