The Minister of Science and Technology, Naledi Pandor will address the launch of the African Doctoral Academy (ADA) at the University of Stellenbosch (US) on Wednesday, 26 January 2011 at 18h00.
The African Doctoral Academy (ADA) is a capacity-building initiative to provide high level training and support to current and prospective doctoral students in fields of science, as well as providing accredited training to doctoral supervisors.
The ADA is conceptualised and implemented in close collaboration with a number of partner universities in Africa, which include, the Universities of Nairobi, Dar es Salaam, Makerere and Botswana. University of Legon is expected to join the partnership soon.
